Zuwairie Ibrahim is one of the inventors of the Simulated Kalman Filter, which is a new optimization algorithm based on the Kalman filtering framework. He obtained a B.Eng (Mechatronics) and M.Eng (Electrical) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from Meiji University, Japan. He is currently an Associate Professor of Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Pahang. His current research interests include Computational Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, and Estimation.
