Associate Professor Dr. Hamzah Ahmad previously works at Sharp-Roxy Electronics Corporation Sdn Bhd in Batu Pahat, Johor as a design engineer from year 2000 to 2003. He then served Universiti Malaysia Pahang formerly known as Kolej University Kejuruteraan & Teknologi Malaysia(KUKTEM). His research interests are follows but not limited to;

Control system, Navigation, Simultaneous Localization and Mapping, Control Theory, Mobile Robot, Estimation and Robust Control, Artificial Intelligence, Medical Electronics, Gripper system, Kalman Filter, H infinity Filter

He is also closely work with Pejabat Pendidikan Pekan, and Jabatan Pendidikan Pahang to deliver knowledge and programming skills to school especially in Pekan on STEM by using LEGO Mindstorm.
